Rodney Gagnon, Founder

Rodney is both the visionary and technical mind behind Kayanta. He designed Kayanta to meet his own needs and those of people like him who appreciate the breadth of activity choices that can be found on the web, but are disillusioned by the lack of personalization. Rodney has strong creative and innovative skills, and more than 18 years of product development experience. Prior to founding Kayanta, he was an Architect to the CTO at Revivio, a Data Protection technology provider sold to Symantec. Before Revivio, Rodney was a Technologist at idea incubator Applied Minds, and Vice President of Engineering at TeraGlobal Communications, a desktop distance-learning technology and service provider. Rodney holds a B.S. in computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts and has studied at UCLA (Art History), Berklee College of Music (Piano), and Boston University (Wine Studies).

Hank Lambert, Partner

Hank helped lay the foundation for the Kayanta business model. Leveraging over a decade of Strategic Planning expertise, Hank provides the market-focus necessary to build a consumer-facing application. Hank’s penchant for goal-setting eliminates the illusion of progress within environments of perpetual activity. He honed his craft as Operations Manager at Ryder Systems growing the Southern California Region from $13 million annual revenue to over $27 million. Upon earning his MBA from USC in 1995, Hank formed his own Strategy Consulting firm where he helped Gallo Wines communicate with their customers more effectively through their website, created a new product life-cycle management system at Dot Hill Systems, built out a Value-Added Reseller network for Procom Technology, and transitioned Platinum Studios from an IP development house to a revenue producing production studio.
