INTRODUCTION

The Kayanta service provides a means to explore and discover the happenings in the world around us without spending an inordinate amount of time searching. In order to gain full benefit from the service as well as contribute information, a user must be registered with Kayanta.com, which involves the collection of some personal information.

We respect, value and will protect your privacy as much as our own. We believe that each of our users has a right to maintain their privacy and we will never use spy-ware, ad-ware, pop-up ads, spam or other annoying or intrusive advertising. We do not sell, rent, or exchange your personal information to any third party except as required by law. This Privacy Policy lays out what information we do collect on the Site and how we might use that information.

In consideration of your use of the Service, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and are not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdiction.

Email addresses are also used for the purposes of inviting new users to join Kayanta, and to send notifications related to the service. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing their "notification" setting to "Do not send me notification emails" in the user profile.

This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally-identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.
